Global Sunflower Production

June 2017

This month the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimates that the Global Sunflower Production 2017/2018 will be 45.65 million metric tons, around 0.29 million tons more than the previous month's projection.

Last year the Global Sunflower Production (*) was 40.51 million tons. This year's 45.65 estimated million tons could represent an increase of 5.14 million tons or a 12.69% in sunflower production around the globe.
